Why do I Evangelize?

I eagerly share my faith with others because I believe. Period.

In the Bible, to ‘believe’ means to ‘trust in, to cling to, and to rely upon’. Here’s the top ten items I daily choose to ‘believe’:

1. The Bible is totally true.

2. Heaven is waiting for me, and those who love Jesus with all their hearts.

3. An eternal hell of spiritual torment is waiting for unrepentant sinners.

4. Salvation is absolutely free, and cannot be earned by us.

5. God loves me with His perfect and unconditional love.

6. It’s every believer’s homework to evangelize, spreading the good news of Jesus.

7. Our evangelistic mission is urgent since people are dying every day.

8. Jesus will return in a blaze of glory to take all true believers to heaven.

9. My life, though one of billions, matters to God and to others.

10.  The two greatest joys possible on this earth are to know Jesus personally, and help others know His incredible love too!

“But we continue to preach because we have the same kind of faith the psalmist had when he said, “I believed in God, so I spoke.”” 2 Corinthians 4:13 NLT

Because I believe, I speak! I tell others about the goodness of God in my life, and how He can rescue them from their sin, and provide the hope for which they are longing!

You can too. It’s what believers can daily choose to do.

“For we live by believing, and not by seeing.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 NLT
