Do you have a favorite childhood memory?
I was very privileged to have a great childhood, with loving parents. I grew up confident in their love. Their example and training made me confident in God’s love, and encouraged me to trust Jesus with all my heart. I delighted in serving God, because of how I was raised as a child!
Let’s all become kids again! Let’s see ourselves as God does….His children. Let’s learn to trust Him as a child does his parents. Let’s put our little hand into God’s great hand and never let go. Here are three ways to become a kid again from Psalm 40:
1. DELIGHT YOURSELF IN THE LORD. Recall all the goodness of God, and celebrate it!
“I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart.” Psalms 40:8 NKJV
2. SHINE YOUR LIGHT FOR ALL TO SEE. Don’t hide your light under a bushel. Uncover it!
“I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth From the great assembly.” Psalms 40:10 NKJV
3. REMEMBER GOD IS ALWAYS CARING FOR YOU. God loves you much more than you think.
“But I am poor and needy; Yet the Lord thinks upon me. You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my God.” Psalms 40:17 NKJV
Maybe you didn’t have a great childhood. Maybe it still hurts you and haunts you when you think of it. In Christ we have a new beginning, and we are a new creation! So in Christ, let’s stop hurting our own family by focusing on the past.
It’s time to move forward! It’s time to be confident in God’s love. It’s time to celebrate our new beginning in Him. It’s time to become a kid again!

wish you all the best
