The Bible

The basis of our faith is the Bible, which we believe is God's inspired Word and infallible authority. II Timothy 3:16-17.

One True God

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons — God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 4:4-6.

Jesus Christ

We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, His Body, which is composed of all men, living and dead, who have been joined to Him through saving faith. John 1:1-4; Matthew 1:23; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4 & 4:15; Acts 1:11 & 2:22-24; I Corinthians 15:3-4.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to men. He convicts and draws sinners to Christ, imparts new life to them, continually indwells them from the moment of spiritual birth and seals them until the day of redemption. His fullness, power and control are appropriated in the believer's life by faith.

We believe in the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit, and that His giftings and fruit can be evident in the life of every believer who desires to be continually filled with His presence and power. I Corinthians 12 & 14.

Divine Healing

We believe divine healing is active in the lives of people today through Jesus, who is the Healer. Healing includes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual restoration. Luke 9:11; Matthew 9:35; Acts 10:38; Matthew 10:1.

God Loves All People

It is His desire to reach out to those who are poor, oppressed, widowed or orphaned, and to heal the brokenhearted. Psalm 68:5,6; 1 John 4:16.

Fall of Mankind

Man was originally created in the image of God, but the sin of man separated us from a perfect and Holy God. Accepting Jesus is our only way to establishing a relationship with God. Genesis 1:26; 1 Timothy 2:5.

Free Will

We believe that God gives all people the power of choice. Those who accept Jesus as their Savior will be with God for eternity and those who do not receive Jesus as their Savior will be eternally separated from God. Revelation 20:11-15; I Corinthians 15:51-57.

Atonement for Sin

Jesus is perfect and lived a sinless life. He became the atonement for our sins by dying on the cross in our place, thus satisfying divine justice and accomplishing salvation for all who trust in Him alone.

Saved By God’s Grace

No one can earn their way to heaven. Salvation is wholly a work of God's free grace through acceptance of Jesus Christ. Repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ result in regeneration by the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:4-7; Luke 24:46-47; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Acts 4:12.

Assurance of Salvation

It is the privilege of all who are born again of the Spirit to be assured of their salvation from the very moment in which they trust Christ as their Savior. This assurance is not based upon any kind of human merit, but is produced by the witness of the Holy Spirit, who confirms in the believer the testimony of God in His written Word.

Return of Jesus

Jesus Christ will come again to complete the eternal plan of God.

Unity

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Jesus Christ are members of His body, the Church. Ephesians 1:22-23; I Corinthians 12:12, 27

Proclaim The Gospel

The Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to make disciples of all nations. Romans 10:9-15; Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:18-20; I Peter 3:15.
