Are you still a student? If you’re wise, you will always be learning.

Here’s one thing we all have to keep learning… Satan hates us because we love Jesus.

Satan is always looking for ways to discourage us, disarm us, and disappoint us in our faith. He never gives up on weekends or holidays. He is always looking for a point when we might be vulnerable. Peter warns us about his strategy:

“Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.” 1 Peter 5:8-9 NLT

Did you get that last line? Every believer around the world is being confronted with Satan’s temptations and warfare. We all live in the same broken world.

So don’t feel sorry for yourself, or condemn yourself, or belittle yourself. Even Jesus was tempted in every way we are, yet without sin. Jesus knows what we are dealing with.

Who will rescue us from this body of death? Just the most powerful name on earth: Jesus!

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?… Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:35, 37 NKJV
