I love marriage, and I love my wife!

Why? Because it’s a covenant partnership. We are in it to win it. We are together forever. And with the Holy Spirit guiding us, we are a great team!

But there is another even greater partnership. It’s you and the Holy Spirit. Yes, the Spirit within us invites us to partner with Him in calling people to Jesus.

“The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life.” Revelation 22:17 NLT

We are the bride, and we join with the Spirit to call others to “come to Jesus”. Everyone needs a “come to Jesus moment”. We get to help facilitate that moment by sharing our faith-story.

Be bold, because the Spirit is already talking to people, and we get to join Him! We can be led by the Spirit daily to invite others to drink deeply from the water of life. Simply pray for the Spirit to lead you to one person each day!

So what hinders a good marriage? Lack of clear communication. It’s also the same thing that hinders us from listening to the Spirit. We stop listening to His voice. We stop expecting Him to lead us. We question if those thoughts are from myself or from Him.

The more we listen to the Spirit, the more we trust His voice.
