Think of it. Everything would be different. Your family, your relationships, the scars of sin, the many regrets, your addictions, your mental health, your haunting memories, your coping habits, your enemies, your friends, your lack of worth, and your fears of eternity! Wow.

For these reasons, and many more, we can praise God eternally for His grace. It protected us from our sinful self, and gave us a new beginning through His forgiveness! It’s life-changing!

And for these reasons we should never forget

from where He has brought us. Never.

“You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!” Psalms 30:11-12 NLT

God instructed the nation of Israel to build a pile of rocks in the middle of the Jordan River. Why? So they would never forget that moment when He brought them from their wilderness of wandering into their promised land. They were to tell all generations of children the stories of God’s great grace and deliverance.

So everyone of us should also be telling our own children and grandchildren our own story. Our testimony includes our B.C and our A.D….our life Before Christ, and our life After Decision. It helps our family know our great legacy, and their great inheritance! And they now see the reason for your great joy!
