For 24 hours, what if I only walked in faith, and not in fear?
For 24 hours, what if I cared less about what others think, and more about what God thinks?
For 24 hours, what if funding was not a factor in my faith?
For 24 hours, what if I thought my ability was not important when God requested another step of faith?
For 24 hours, what if I took one day at a time, with no worries about tomorrow?
For 24 hours, what if I chose to look for the one person with whom I could share my faith?
“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16 NKJV
Here’s what I think. We are easily intimidated by the unknown. As a result, we easily settle for less than God’s best.
But if I chose to live fully in faith, for 24 hours, it would be much easier to do it again… like tomorrow!
So why not? Let’s live life fully one day at a time. Let’s pray over and treasure the precious time God has given us. And let’s use it to love people and impact eternity… today.
May God teach us to redeem the time!
